Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and loosie. By using the app you agree to them. We've kept them short and plain.

The short version: loosie is a tool for capturing your creative ideas. Your ideas are yours — you own everything you make in it. Use it for lawful, creative work, don't abuse the shared features, and understand it's provided as-is while we're building it out.

1. Using loosie

loosie is a personal idea-capture app. You may use it to capture, organize, edit, and export your own creative work. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country (at least 13, and 16 where required) to use it.

2. Your content is yours

You keep all ownership of everything you capture and create in loosie — your notes, recordings, photos, sketches, lyrics, and any exports. We claim no ownership over your content. By default your content stays on your device; it only leaves it when you turn on sync, generate a share link, or use an optional online feature, as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable use

Please don't use loosie to:

Break the law, or infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, or privacy.
Upload or share content you don't have the rights to.
Abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
Share links containing content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights.

Share links you create are viewable by anyone who has the link. You're responsible for what you choose to share.

4. loosie Pro & payments

loosie offers an optional paid plan ("loosie Pro") that unlocks additional features. Prices are shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled, and are billed by Apple through your App Store account. You can cancel any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled according to the policy of the store you purchased through.

5. Your responsibility to back up

Because your data lives on your device, it can be lost if you clear your browser storage, uninstall the app, or lose your device. loosie provides an Export Backup feature — please use it. We are not responsible for lost captures.

6. Availability & changes

loosie is under active development. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may update these terms. If we make a material change we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.

7. Provided "as is"

loosie is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that it will meet your specific needs. To the fullest extent permitted by law, loosie and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or content arising from your use of the app.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using loosie at any time and delete your data from within the app (Settings → Clear all data, or Recently Deleted). We may suspend access for anyone who violates these terms or abuses the service.
